Juan-Pablo Idrovo is a surgeon whose work sits at the intersection of minimally invasive robotics and complex abdominal pathology. His most impactful contribution comes from a landmark multidisciplinary study on robotic median arcuate ligament release, a procedure for a rare compression syndrome. In a series of 52 patients, he demonstrated that a robotic approach offers superior visualization and precision, leading to excellent outcomes and shorter recovery times.
