Jim Haywood is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research has fundamentally advanced our understanding of aerosol physics, radiative properties, and their broader climatic impacts. His work focuses primarily on mineral dust and biomass burning aerosols, with particular emphasis on their direct radiative effects across Africa and other dust-prone regions.
