About
Jessica Stockheim is a pioneering surgeon and educator at the forefront of minimally invasive and robotic hepatobiliary surgery. Her research centers on three key areas: advancing robotic techniques for liver resections, standardizing surgical training, and optimizing intraoperative imaging with indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence. Stockheim’s major contributions include demonstrating the efficacy of ICG for tumor visualization and fluorescence angiography in laparoscopic and robotic procedures, as well as developing the innovative three-device (3D) technique for liver parenchyma dissection.
