J. Hinojosa is a leading pediatric neurosurgeon whose work centers on the surgical treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy, with a particular focus on minimally invasive techniques. His major contributions lie in advancing the use of robot-assisted, MRI-guided laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) for complex epilepsy cases.
