About
Heather Meyer is a planetary scientist whose research focuses on the geology and remote sensing of the Moon, with particular emphasis on volcanic processes and the use of radar data to understand the lunar surface. Her most cited work, “The Miniature Radio Frequency instrument’s (Mini-RF) global observations of Earth’s Moon” (2014, 80 citations), represents a major contribution to lunar science by demonstrating how the Mini-RF radar on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter can characterize the physical properties of the lunar surface on a global scale.
