Harishanker Jeyarajan is a pioneering head and neck surgeon whose research focuses on advancing transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for both oncologic and benign conditions of the upper aerodigestive tract. His most impactful work, an interim Phase II study on using Panitumumab-IRDye800CW fluorescence imaging during TORS for oropharyngeal cancer (15 citations), demonstrates his commitment to improving surgical precision by enhancing real-time tumor visualization—a critical innovation that addresses the tactile limitations of robotic surgery.
