Dr. Go Miyano is a pioneering pediatric surgeon whose work has significantly advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques for children. His research primarily focuses on endoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures for congenital anomalies, particularly in the thyroid, biliary tract, and urinary system. Dr. Miyano’s major contributions include the development of the bilateral transaxillary endoscopic total thyroidectomy, a groundbreaking approach that eliminates visible neck scars, with his seminal 2008 paper accumulating over 113 citations.
