Glauber G. Cirino is a Brazilian atmospheric scientist whose research sits at the intersection of Amazonian climate dynamics, aerosol physics, and biosphere-atmosphere interactions. His work has made significant contributions to understanding how atmospheric aerosol particles and clouds influence carbon cycling in the Amazon, most notably demonstrated in his highly cited 2014 study (139 citations) revealing how changes in net radiation driven by aerosols and clouds affect net ecosystem exchange in this critical biome.
