About
Gianantonio Manzoni is a leading figure in pediatric urology, renowned for advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat complex congenital urinary tract conditions in children. His research focuses on the refinement and global standardization of laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures, particularly for ureteropelvic junction obstruction and bladder neck reconstruction. Manzoni’s most impactful work, the 2016 global study on minimally invasive pyeloplasty in children (109 citations), established key benchmarks for safety and efficacy, providing a foundational reference for pediatric urologists worldwide.
