Folakemi T. Odedina is a globally recognized leader in cancer health disparities, with a research focus on prostate cancer among Black men. As a professor at the University of Florida and director of the Inclusive Cancer Care Research Equity (iCCaRE) for Black Men Consortium, she has pioneered efforts to understand and eliminate the disproportionate burden of prostate cancer in this population.
