About
Fabrice Vanhuyse is a pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon whose work has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive cardiac surgery. His research centers on the development and validation of robotic-assisted techniques for complex valvular procedures, with a particular focus on mitral and aortic valve repair and replacement. Vanhuyse’s major contribution lies in demonstrating that robotic approaches can achieve outcomes comparable to traditional sternotomy while significantly reducing surgical trauma.
