Eliney Ferreira Faria is a pioneering robotic surgeon and researcher whose work focuses on advancing minimally invasive urologic surgery, particularly in resource-limited settings. His major contributions span robotic partial nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, and upper-tract urothelial carcinoma management, where he has demonstrated that robotic techniques can reduce warm ischemia time and improve ergonomics compared to traditional laparoscopy.
