D.L. Bisset’s research career bridges foundational robotics and high-level European AI strategy. At the University of Kent, Bisset made key contributions to behaviour-based robotics, most notably in a 2005 paper that critically examined and proposed improvements to Brooks’ Subsumption Architecture.
