About
Conrad Bishop is a pioneering urological surgeon whose work has significantly advanced the field of robotic-assisted surgery. His primary research focuses on improving the safety and efficacy of robotic procedures, particularly for prostate and bladder cancers. Bishop's most impactful contribution is his landmark multicentre study on lower limb compartment syndrome (LLCS) as a complication of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, which has garnered 69 citations. This work was critical in identifying risk factors and raising awareness of this rare but serious complication, directly influencing perioperative protocols in robotic surgery.
