About
Chunxiang Cao is a leading environmental researcher whose work focuses on the intersection of atmospheric remote sensing, air quality, and public health. Her most significant contribution is a landmark study that reconstructed long-term (2001–2012) fine particulate matter (PM₂.₅) concentrations over Beijing, using satellite-derived aerosol optical depth (AOD) as a proxy.
