Chung-Kuang Su is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose work has centered on advancing robotic-assisted surgery, particularly with the da Vinci system, to improve outcomes for patients with urological cancers. His major contributions lie in critically evaluating the safety and efficacy of this technology, most notably through his landmark study on da Vinci system malfunctions, which analyzed 400 procedures at Taichung Veterans General Hospital.
