Casandra Anderson is a pioneering surgical oncologist whose research has fundamentally shaped the adoption of robotic-assisted surgery for gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies. Working at the forefront of minimally invasive oncologic surgery, Anderson was among the earliest investigators to systematically evaluate robotic platforms for complex cancer procedures, producing a remarkably concentrated body of influential work in 2007–2009.
