Burkhardt Seifert is a leading figure in surgical innovation and perioperative care, with a research focus on reducing complications in high-risk urological and cardiac procedures. His work has been instrumental in challenging long-held clinical dogmas, particularly regarding the safety of continuing antiplatelet therapy during surgery.
