Dr. Aubrey C. Galloway is a pioneering cardiac surgeon whose career has been defined by advancing the frontiers of minimally invasive mitral valve surgery. His primary research focuses on the application of robotic-assisted techniques to complex mitral valve repair, demonstrating that even the most challenging pathologies can be addressed with a totally endoscopic approach. Dr. Galloway’s landmark work includes some of the earliest reports on robotic instrument-enhanced mitral valve surgery (2000, 56 and 42 citations), establishing a foundation for the field.
