Anja Ruppelt’s research has fundamentally advanced our understanding of cellular signaling, particularly the precise spatial control of protein kinase A (PKA). Her key work focuses on A-kinase anchoring proteins (AKAPs), which act as molecular scaffolds to direct PKA to specific subcellular locations.
