Dr. Andrea Braga is a pioneering researcher whose work bridges two seemingly distinct fields: female pelvic medicine and advanced human-robot interaction. In urogynecology, Dr. Braga is best known for a landmark 2014 systematic review and meta-analysis on robot-assisted sacrocolpopexy for pelvic organ prolapse. This highly influential study, cited over 180 times, provided critical comparative evidence that helped establish robotic surgery as a safe and effective standard of care, shaping clinical guidelines worldwide. More recently, Dr. Braga has ventured into the cutting edge of Industry 4.0 with the development of "Kinetic AR" (2020).
