About

Alon Mass is a urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing robotic-assisted kidney surgery, particularly partial nephrectomy for renal tumors. His major contributions lie in defining perioperative outcomes and risk factors in complex patient populations. In a landmark multicentre analysis of 1,791 patients, Mass identified the incidence and predictors of urinary fistula after robot-assisted partial nephrectomy, a critical complication that informs surgical planning and patient counseling (73 citations).
