About
Akira Sasao is a pioneering researcher in precision agriculture and agricultural robotics, best known for developing the world’s first mobile fruit grading robot for sweet peppers. His work integrates machine vision, robotics, and real-time data mapping to automate on-field quality assessment—a critical step toward information-added products in precision farming.
