About
A. Carrara is a leading figure in abdominal wall surgery, whose clinical research has significantly advanced the management of primary midline defects and diastasis recti. Carrara’s key contributions center on the development and validation of the THT (transverse hernia repair) technique, a novel approach for abdominal wall reconstruction that prioritizes both structural integrity and functional recovery.
