Dr. A. Benlyazid is a pioneering surgeon whose work has fundamentally shaped the field of transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for head and neck cancers. His primary research focuses on minimally invasive surgical techniques for carcinomas of the pharynx and larynx, with a specific emphasis on robotic-assisted approaches. Dr. Benlyazid’s major contribution lies in demonstrating the feasibility, safety, and oncologic efficacy of TORS through multi-institutional studies.
