About
Yu‐Hsun Chang is a pioneering gynecologic surgeon whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly in robotic and single-site procedures. Her major contribution lies in demonstrating the feasibility and safety of robotic single-site supracervical hysterectomy (RSSSH) for benign conditions such as adenomyosis. In her landmark 2017 study, she reported on the first three patients to undergo this novel approach, combining the precision of robotic surgery with the cosmetic and recovery benefits of a single umbilical incision.
