Dr. Yaron Shargall is a pioneering thoracic surgeon whose research has fundamentally advanced the field of minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. His work centers on comparing the clinical and economic outcomes of robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RTS) versus video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), particularly for anatomic lung resections like lobectomy and segmentectomy.
