Peter Goh is a pioneering figure in the fields of surgical robotics and minimally invasive endoscopy, whose work has helped bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering and clinical practice. His landmark 2000 paper, "International Surgical Telementoring Using a Robotic Arm: Our Experience" (24 citations), demonstrated the first successful use of a robotic arm for remote surgical guidance across international borders, laying foundational groundwork for modern telemedicine and telesurgery.
