About
Jesper Ryg is a leading geriatric medicine researcher whose work sits at the intersection of aging, rehabilitation, and robotics. His primary research focus is on improving functional outcomes for older adults during acute hospitalization—a critical period when patients are at high risk of physical decline due to prolonged bed rest. Ryg’s major contribution lies in pioneering the clinical application of robot-assisted physical training for geriatric patients.
