Jeff Jordan is a developmental systems biologist whose research explores the dense regulatory logic that governs embryogenesis. His most impactful work, a 2020 study with over 100 citations, revealed that developmental enhancers are packed with pleiotropic regulatory information, demonstrating that even single mutations can disrupt multiple, distinct phenotypic outputs.
