About

I-Ping Huang is a pioneering colorectal surgeon whose research focuses on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques for rectal cancer, particularly through the integration of robotic and transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME). Dr. Huang’s major contribution is the development and validation of the laparoscopy-assisted robotic transanal total mesorectal excision (r-taTME) approach, a novel hybrid technique that combines the precision of robotic systems with the benefits of transanal access.
