Davide Maffei is a urological surgeon and researcher whose work is reshaping the management of prostate cancer through precision diagnostics and surgical innovation. His primary research focuses on improving the accuracy of preoperative staging—particularly in predicting extraprostatic extension (EPE) and lymph node invasion (LNI)—and on optimizing functional outcomes after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP).
