About
Anja Schwalm is a veterinary researcher whose work focuses on the detection and management of bovine paratuberculosis, also known as Johne’s disease—a chronic, wasting intestinal infection caused by *Mycobacterium avium* subspecies *paratuberculosis* (MAP).
