Abstract

In this paper, an experiment system of visual servo robot motion control is designed, which includes an industrial robot, vision system and workbench. Specifically, the hardware design and software design of the experimental system are carried out, and the prototype platform of the experimental system is built. Based on the designed experimental system the surface profile image of the workpiece can be obtained and achieve the motion trajectory planning for the robot according to the feature points. During the movement of the robot, the vision camera can observe and feedback the end trajectory points of the robot in real time. The trajectory control experiment is tested and analyzed and the effectiveness of the visual servo motion control system is verified. The experiment system designed in this paper can be used for robot kinematics, trajectory planning and visual inspection, etc., which is significant for the talent training in scientific research and education teaching especially in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
