Abstract

In this paper, we present the design and implementation of RAJUNI, a cooking robot capable of autonomously preparing food without human intervention. The RAJUNI consists of two main components: the cooking robot itself and an Android app installed on a smartphone. The cooking robot features robotic arms, which are controlled by servo motors for precise positioning. The central processing tasks of the cooking robot are managed by Arduino Mega2560 and ESP8266 microcontrollers. To enhance the accuracy of the water and oil pouring mechanisms, IR sensors are employed. An induction cooker is integrated into the robot to ensure proper heating of the cooking pan. Users can command RAJUNI to prepare various dishes through the Android app on their smartphone. Upon receiving a command, RAJUNI executes the cooking process smoothly. We tested RAJUNI by preparing a specific meal to evaluate its effectiveness in a real life application.
