Artificial Intelligence–Driven Cobots for Innovative Industry 5.0 Workforce

Abstract

“Cobots” are robots created expressly to work with humans. The goal of Industry 5.0 development is to improve computer science capabilities in order to foster a tighter bond between people and technology. Cobots are created to develop straightforward interactions with people. The objective of intelligent process automation is to assist cobots in establishing both production objectives and industrial plant safety measures. Intelligent cobots can then mimic these actions, assess where they can be of assistance, and support operators in their daily tasks. While both people and AI may play a variety of functions inside an organization, for collaboration to be successful, companies where both play the role of decision-making agents must place a strong emphasis on regulating the effects of technological engagement on human performance and vice versa. In order to help businesses and researchers alike determine the best approach for organizational decision-making in Industry 5.0, where human–machine collaboration is the main objective, many human–machine collaboration strategies that have been studied are also reviewed. The goal of Industry 5.0 is to change how people and technology interact through artificial intelligence.
