Abstract
Correct localization of implanted markers represents a crucial step in robot-assisted surgery for the registration of CT-based computer models and the real world. While in the real world we can organize a suitable precise tactile searching by the robot arm, in the virtual image we can not rely only on the operator's judgement and skill. This paper describes our interactive approach to the correct localization of registration points on 3D computer images.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
