Abstract
Autonomy in minimally invasive robotic surgery allows a fast and safe operation. To realize autonomous functions, the motion of the area of interest has to be known. Vision algorithms are presented to measure the heart motion in cardiac surgery reliably. A motion estimation algorithm is proposed to compensate disturbances of the vision algorithm.
