Abstract
In today's world, there have been many robotic applications in the field of medicine, due to the rise of Industry 4.0. The majority of these applications focus on playing a core role in surgery assisting the surgeons. This paper, however, proposes an application that focuses on an equally important, yet less explored, role of assisting the surgery i.e., on the role of inventory handling. The paper focuses on implementing a robotic arm with speech and image detection capabilities. This arm would provide economic relief for any under-staffed hospitals, especially when there is a shortage of trained personnel. The robotic arm also helps in reducing any hospital-acquired infections.
