Abstract
During this period, the growth of the globe is dependent on technology. Rapid economic expansion, overpopulation, poor urban planning, corrosive corruption, and governmental dysfunction have all contributed to today’s massive waste issue. Trash collecting solutions that have been tried and tested in the past have proven to be useless. And the world is now seeking wiser solutions to the waste collection challenge. This paper presents a cutting-edge system that will aid in the clean-up of cities. The Garbage Collection robot using an Arduino microcontroller is demonstrated in this project. We rely on such a system to give accurate results while also lowering prices, making it a viable alternative for reducing human labour and expenditures during garbage collection. The robot is mounted on a metal base and is powered by a 12V battery. The robot is meant to gather the trash from a sidewalk or other public areas (parks, schools, and colleges). In muddy environments, the robot cannot be used. The robot is designed in such a way that when it is powered on, it will follow the program’s commands. When it comes across an obstruction, the bot proceeds with some further action based on the demands specified in the software, and then the robot picks up all the trash.
