Young Engineers Involved in Education and Research

Abstract

The University of Craiova, Romania is higher education institution offering different bachelor, master and doctoral programs including engineering ones. The Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics is a multi domains engineering school for Control System, Multimedia Systems, Computers and Applied Informatics, Applied Electronics, Mechatronics and Robotics. A group of researchers from the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics was involved in two EU programs and now started a complex research program. The experience acquired from the two previous programs will be used in this new program in order to select two young engineers and integrate them in the research team. The challenge will be to propose an adequate plan to support the two young engineers, one having a bachelor diploma and the other having a master diploma, to continue their studies in master, respectively doctoral programs, in parallel with the research activities.
