Abstract
Network simulations are widely used to explore performance of network protocols. It's easier to evaluate network performance in computer model rather than develop “live” experiment. Simulations allow modeling any kind of networking with large amount of interacting devices using only one PC. Moreover one can use network simulations to determine how network will work with different physics e.g. deep water, another planet or space. In our paper we presented techniques and algorithms that can be used to explore network communication of robotic groups in space missions.
