Advances in research of cloud robotics

Abstract

Considering cloud robots as a natural outgrowth and development of traditional distributed networked robots,this paper analyzed the relation and difference between cloud robotics and other robotics. Further more,it introduced and analyzed the technical basis of cloud robotics,and reviewed several cloud-based robot service platforms,several related research projects and applications. Based on these,it described a general cloud robotics system framework model. Finally,it summarized the key technologies of cloud robotics to be solved,and prospected the development trends of cloud robotics in the future.
