Abstract
Solar panels are prone to accumulation of dirt, dust, and debris, reducing their efficiency and overall energy output. Manual cleaning methods are time-consuming, laborintensive, and sometimes dangerous, especially for large-scale installations. This necessitates the development of an efficient and practical solution for cleaning solar panels. To address this challenge, the design and implementation of a remotecontrolled solar panel cleaning robot is proposed in this work. This robot is specifically developed for automating manual operation, providing a user-friendly interface for operators to control its movement and cleaning process remotely. By combining mechanical brushes and water jets, the robot effectively removes contaminants from solar panels, ensuring optimal performance and maximizing energy generation. The remote-control functionality allows operators to guide the robot’s movement and activate cleaning mechanisms as needed. The system is designed for simplicity and ease of use, ensuring quick deployment and operation by personnel with minimal training. Experimental testing demonstrates the effectiveness of the remote-controlled solar panel cleaning robot in maintaining panel cleanliness and enhancing energy output. By systematically cleaning solar panels, the robot ensures consistent performance and prolongs the lifespan of the solar installation. Overall, the robot offers a practical and cost-effective solution for maintaining the efficiency of solar panel systems.
