Abstract
We describe our current, evolving technique to completely portal robotic Ivor Lewis esophagectomy including; port placement, conduct of surgery, and pearls for the optimal anastomosis garnered by our experience of 163 patients (158 Ivor Lewis, 5 McKeown). We outline the thoracic and abdominal phases of the operation and demonstrate that this procedure is safe, feasible, and oncologically-sound.
