Design of Elderly Care Service Robot System for Delivering Goods

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of shortage of professional nursing staff and high nursing cost for the bedridden elderly, the elderly care service robot system is designed to deliver goods to the elderly at any time. The bedridden elderly man controls the robot and its paws through the touch screen to pass the needed goods such as books, food and towels on the storage shelf to himself. The experimental results show that the system can deliver the necessary goods for the elderly at any time, meet the needs of the elderly, improve the living conditions of the elderly, and safe and efficient, easy to use.
