Abstract

The paper deals with a threat model proposed to assess the efficiency and security of robotic systems with inter-machine interaction taking into account threats and vulnerabilities typical for such systems. The application of the developed model enhances the technology and the security of the system's components thus providing for an innovative and relevant approach to the problems of a kind. Such tools as MATLAB software and mathematical apparatus of Markov processes and Kolmogorov analytical approach to the probability theory are involved in the research and development. Modeling results contribute to detection of vulnerabilities in the processes under analysis and selection of the appropriate protection measures. With a view to improving the protection of robotic complexes from information threats an approach to the selection and justification of countermeasures is developed and demonstrated by the example of a real task implementation.
