Abstract

The PERFoRM project aims to develop a common reference architecture for Agile Manufacturing Control systems for true plug-and-produce devices, robots and machines. The aim of the work described in this paper is to validate the concepts of the reference architecture in the context of the production of home appliances. A demonstrator has been designed and implemented to illustrate the automatic reconfiguration of the path of a robot equipped with a probe for the detection of microwave leaks coming from an oven.
