Automatic Obstacle Detection using Image Segmentation

Abstract

Since many years Obstacle Detection problems have become an important research topic that has attracted many researchers who have worked extensively to obtain efficient methods to solve these problems. This paper present a new algorithm for Obstacle Detection using image processing method. This method is divided into two parts 1. Segment the obstacle containing image 2. Find the obstacle from those obstacle containing image. This paper contribution for the system aims at the path detection problems for the mobile system or robot system.
