Abstract
This article examines the functioning and development of retail trade in the digital economy. We describe the role of service providers, the impact of the elimination of intermediaries in transactions, and new forms of pricing. The paper describes the effect of approach to trading, which implies the simultaneous use of all physical and digital communications channels with the client. We target also the problems of logistics in the retail trade. Also, the authors dwell on the important role of robotics, including in electronic commerce.
